Joining the IFL
Organizations interested in bringing a new team to the league begin by submitting a Membership Application. Qualified applicants may then present their proposal in person at the annual league meetings or through a Board of Directors teleconference.
The IFL Board of Directors evaluates new ownership groups based on the following criteria:

Background check clearance

Reasonable credit score
Approved ownership groups must also be prepared to:

Complete a formal IFL application for review by the Commissioner and League Counsel

Pay a one-time league membership fee

Post an annual Letter of Credit as determined by the Board of Directors

Pay monthly league dues
